1. Who we are
HamsterDay LLC (“we”, “us”) is a limited liability company organized under the laws of Wyoming, United States.
This policy covers our website at https://hamsterday.com and our games, including Boss'em Inc.™, distributed on itch.io, Steam, Google Play and the App Store (each a “Service”).
Contact: contact@hamsterday.com
2. Data we collect
None. We do not collect, store or sell personal information about you. We have no user accounts and no servers that receive data from the games.
Specifically, we do not collect your name, email address, postal address, phone number, precise location, contacts, photos, device identifiers or advertising identifiers through the games.
3. Information processed by platforms
When you buy or play a game on itch.io, Steam, Google Play or the App Store, the platform operator (itch.io, Valve, Google or Apple) processes your account and payment data under its own privacy policy. We receive only aggregated sales reports and, where you contact us, the contents of your message.
We do not receive your payment card details.
4. Information you give us
If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you write. We use it only to answer you and keep a record of the request. We delete it when it is no longer needed, and no later than 24 months after the request is closed.
5. Website
Our website is a static site. It does not set cookies, does not run analytics, and does not embed third-party trackers. Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs (IP address, timestamp, requested URL) for security and abuse prevention; we do not use them to identify individuals.
6. Sharing
We do not sell or rent personal information. We share it only:
- with platform operators, as described in §3;
- with service providers that host our website or email, under confidentiality obligations;
- where required by law, subpoena or a lawful request from a public authority.
7. Legal bases (EEA / UK)
Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we rely on: performance of a contract (delivering a game you bought), legitimate interests (answering support requests, securing our website), and consent where we ask for it.
8. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, object to processing, or request portability. Email contact@hamsterday.com. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.
California residents: we do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by the CCPA/CPRA.
9. Children
Our Services are not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA/UK). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
10. International transfers
Our service providers may process data in the United States or other countries. Where required, transfers rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or an equivalent safeguard.
11. Retention
Support correspondence is kept no longer than 24 months. Server logs, if any, are kept by our hosting provider for a short period for security purposes.
12. Changes
We may update this policy. If we begin collecting data in a future version of a game, we will revise this policy before that version is released and update the “Last updated” date above. The current version is always available at https://hamsterday.com/privacy/.
